Christopher Parker lives in Wilmington, NC with his amazing fiancé, a rambunctious pup, a haughty cat, and many, many fish.

Before writing took over my life, I grew up in a small town in North Carolina. At 18 I moved to the beach for college, earned my degree in Sociology, and got comfortable. Being proudly queer and black has always intensified my love/hate relationship for the complexities of society. My love for all things arcane eventually led me to writing books about witches and other magical people who look a little more like me than they usually do.

If I'm not glued to my laptop with a cup of coffee or wine, I'm most likely reading, painting, or cooking vegan meals for my soon-to-be husband, and some non-vegan meals for me.
